WINTER COOKING CLASSES
A TASTE OF CAPRI IN THE CAMPANIA COUNTRYSIDE
Calling all Capri enthusiasts to join a special Capri culinary event in countryside Avellino at Fam Olive Oil Facility!
Gianluca & Holly own the Michel’angelo Cooking School on the island of Capri. They’ve held over 2,000 cooking experiences in Capri, travelled USA and Canada with Eataly holding special guest cooking classes, regularly feature on Untold Italy Podcast and in magazines including Travel + Leisure, the New Yorker, Tastes of Italia and on television.
They’re bringing their passion for all things Caprese to Fam to hold a series of culinary collaborations this winter season. Meet Gianluca D’Esposito & Holly Star from the Michel’angelo Cooking School to learn about Caprese cuisine, participate in an interactive cooking demonstration and enjoy a multicourse Caprese meal while tasting matching wines and extra virgin olive oil.
IN THIS CLASS, GUESTS WILL:
10.30am – Tour the EVOO press and learn how EVOO is made.
11.30am – Welcome aperitivo (spritz & bruschetta) before an interactive cooking demonstration of Capri’s most popular dishes; Insalata Caprese, Ravioli Capresi and Torta Caprese.
1pm – Enjoy Caprese appetisers, followed by a 3 course meal of Insalata Caprese, Ravioli Capresi and Torta Caprese paired with Michel’angelo production local wines. Guests will also experience a professional extra virgin olive oil tasting.
3pm – Guests will have the opportunity to ask us all things Capri and shop Michel’angelo gourmet food products & Fam EVOO and cosmetics.

Transport: Please contact us for private transfer recommendations or for group transport. Private transfers are not included and payable separately.
Guests will take away: 100ml bottle of EVOO, digital recipes and wine tasting notes, digital photographs on request.

Dietary restrictions must be notified up to 72 hours in advance. Dietary restrictions will not be able to be accommodated if notified on the day of the experience.
This cooking class is a cooking demonstration and tasting experience. While it is not a hands-on experience, guests will be requested to volunteer to participate in the cooking demonstration should they wish.
Seating is classroom style and based upon the date of ticket purchase.
